I'm new to Scout, and I'm trying to understand two aspects of the server's shutdown behaviour.
How can I trigger a "clean" shutdown of the server application? At the moment, I'm just using the red stop button in the Eclipse IDE, but I think this is just terminating the process, and not allowing any shutdown hooks or helpers to be triggered.
Assuming I get that question answered, I also want to know how should I have a service participate in the shutdown process? In my case, my persistence service needs to cleanly shut down the underlying storage engine, so that it can tidy up its logs and other files. If the Scout server is shut down cleanly, will it call the disposeServices() method in my AbstractService implementation?
