When installing Hudson getting error "Missing URL" using wget command. As a alternative
I downloaded the RPM file manually and installed using rpm -ivh rpmfilename. Even though hudson user got created and all the files are there when we start hudson script in /etc/init.d it is saying it is starting but when status is checked getting error message "hudson dead but pid file exists". Checked couple of things based on suggestions from forums but not able to install it so far. Request some one to provide the resolution.

Problem with the path of Java, modified the config file to point to right version of Java and the problem is resolved.
