Hi,

Observed a behaviour that the workspace folder for our Hudson job is getting deleted intermittently. Is it an expected behavior?

We are checking out code base in to the workspace. Facing some issues in getting the code diff when the workspace is deleted and the code is checked out freshly for a new run of the job.

Appreciate any help.

Thanks,
Martin

- What version of Hudson and SCM are you using?
- Is there any plugin installed that could setup to clean up workspace for disk space saving?
- Is the worksapce in slaves or plugin?

One of my co-worker was puzzled with such behavior and later it turned out they were using a plugin for disk space maintenance that cleaned up the workspace.

Hi Winston,

Thanks for your response. We are using an older version(2.2.0) of Hudson. Whether this can be a reason for the behaviour that we are observing? I confirmed that we do not have any plugin for doing workspace clean up.

Thanks,
Martin
