URL to access web services client [message #187978] Tue, 13 February 2007 15:47 Go to next message

When I invoke "Create Web Service" on a Java class, WTP auto-generates a
web services client and eventually brings up a sample brower app for
testing. I bookmark the URL but sometimes the URL becomes stale. Is there
somewhere I can look in my project(s) to see what this URL is supposed to
be?

Hi Chuck,

If you're referring to the sample JSPs which are generated when you
enable the client side test facility, then those JSPs will be located at
"YourClientProject\Web Content\sampleXXProxy\" (where XX is the name of
your Web service).

If you want to launch the browser to the client app, right click on
TestClient.jsp, and choose "Run As -> Run on Server".

AFAIK, there isn't a file that stores the location of those JSPs.
