Hi,
im using Eclipse 3.2 with birt 2.1 and report engine 2.1.
I use the report engine, to generate a report within my jboss
application. All works fine.
Now my problem:
When i create a report in Birt Designer and create a Parameter, i can
configure the parameter-displayformat.
When i create e.g. a Textbox -> Type = String and Displayformat =
uppercase, all works fine.
I can read the displayformat from my IScalarParameterDefn with the
method "getDisplayFormat()" and i get ">" back (as String).
Is there a BirtDisplayFormater, which is transforming the entered String
with the given displayformat?
How can i format my String with the displaypattern?
