eclipse and created a new workspace on my disk as default workspace.
When I choose (with my mouse) the Window Menu and then WebBrowser, I ge=

a modal window :
- Title : Windows - No Disk
- Text : There is no disk in the drive. Insert a disk in the drive.
My choices are : Cancel, Retry, Continue
Any of these choices give the same result. This window always reappears.=
I =
have to stop eclipse abnormally (with the top right cross), get a "End o=

program - This program doesn't respond ..." window, click on "End progra=
m" =
and then click on one of these choices to stop this situation.
Finally, Eclipse gives me the error message :
JVM terminated. Exit code=3D1073807364
.... etc ...
Any idea on how to figure out what's the problem ?

Strange indeed. My first guess was that something was wrong with your
system's
browser set-up or installation on your system. And that might still be the
case.
(The obvious example would be you have a "default" browser set to be found
on A:,
but there is nothing on A:).
But in "trying this out", I did notice that even on my system, the browser
button
on tool bar did not do anything on my system. I found that by working with
preferences, I could get IE to work, but not firefox ... so ...
something's amiss
and deserves a bugzilla, if one's not open already.

Hi,
I found another case where the phenomenon can be observed. If I choose
Help > About Eclipse SDK, then click on one of the Eclipse icons and
choose "Licence", the result is the same.
The problem really seems to be due to browser informations. But I can't
find what's wrong with my system.
Internet Explorer works fine on my system. Is this browser that Eclipse
uses as default browser ?
Where does Eclipse find which browser to use to display Licence
informations ?
Can anybody help me to verify what's wrong on my system ?
Thanks

Hi,
I finally found how to solve my problem.
When I created a new workspace, it seems missing a file containing Web
browser preferences. Copying this file from an old working workspace
solved the problem.
File : <Workspace
path> \.metadata\.plugins\org.eclipse.core.runtime\.settings\org.e clipse.ui.browser.prefs
