Can I disable checkout branch on mouse double click? [message #1115757]

Is there anyway to stop EGit from checking out a branch / tag when I double click on it from the Git Repo Explorer?

I've done this a few times by accident now and I'd like to turn this short cut off entirely if possible to save my sanity.
