how to generate pdf from birt templates as batch job? [message #1115121]

Hi i am new to BIRT. I want to generate pdf from BIRT templates and save them in a specific folder? actually with birt viewer we can view report in pdf and then if required the user can save to his computer manually but what actually i want is, i have to write a program that automatically pulls all the birt report templates and generate reports out of them and automatically save them to a specified folder(here there is no viewing of documents). how can i do this? kindly help.
