Hello guys,

I want to migrate an implementation of a Team Handler written for an older release of EMF Compare to version 2.1 of EMF Compare. Since release 2.0, the extension point org.eclipse.emf.compare.ui.team.handler and the base class of the Team Handler implementation, org.eclipse.emf.compare.ui.team.AbstractTeamHandler seem to be removed.

Is there an equivalent for the new API?

Thanks for your help!

Hi Klaus,

There is no extension point for that part yet, since we strive to be independent from the various Team providers.

We do have issues with some (EMF Compare 2 cannot be used yet with SVN repositories for example)... You can find classes that aime at solving issues very close to what the old "TeamHandler" did, please see the pointers in bug 397955, comment 4. However, these cannot be extended yet by third-party plugins. What did you create a team handler for? Does it need to be specific to your plugin, or should it be made generic?
