Hello,
I am building a Swing application using WindowBuilder for the first time (I am impressed so far), but I am facing a problem when using JTable data binding.
What happens is that the data binding wizard for the table is not displaying the tabs and the option for adding column binding details.
To troubleshoot this, I downloaded the Swing phone book example from:
developers.google.com/java-dev-tools/wbpro/features/swing/data_binding/example
but the same issue occurs.
In this case the column bindings already exist, but the tabs to cycle different columns, and the "Add" option do not show up.
I have attached a screenshot that shows the issue.
This occurs in two different OSs (One is a Linux Mint 15 - 64 bit, and the other is an Ubuntu 12.04 - 32 bit) but with the same dev config:
Eclipse Kepler
WindowBuilder 1.6.0
beansbinding-1.2.1.jar
Do you know what might be causing this ?
EDIT:
I have tried a few more configurations:
Eclipse Indigo SR2 - works ok
Eclipse Juno - works ok
Eclipse Juno SR2 - same error I had before
I tried Eclipse Juno with WB 1.5.0, 1.5.1 and 1.6.0 but the problem occurs in any case.
This seems to have started happening somewhere between Juno and Juno SR2...
Unfortunately at this stage I have to use Eclipse Kepler (internal rule).
1. Any suggestions ?
2. Anyone using the JTable databinding wizard succesfully with Kepler/Juno SR2 ?
3. Anyone seeing the same problem ?
