Hi all. I'm not sure if I'm posting in the correct place here, so apologies if it's wrong.
I'm struggling to get GCC 4.8.1 to work in Eclipse. I'm using OSX 10.6.8 and don't want to upgrade, limiting me to using Xcode 4.2 that comes with GCC 4.2.1. I chose to go down the Macports route, installed 4.8.1 and set it as active, then confirmed it with "gcc --version". However, Eclipse still sees 4.2.1, and I'm stuck with how to rectify this. I'm a recent Mac convert so my OSX knowledge is minimal, and I'm a complete novice with the terminal, so while there may be pointers out there on other forums, I just don't know how to implement them.
Thanks in advance.
