Hi, thanks for you interest in Sirius.

Not yet. We are in the process of preparing the existing source code for
the initial contribution, which should happen in the next few days.
However this code will not be visible immediately as the Eclipse
Foundation's IP team must first review this submission and give us the
go. How much time this takes depends on the size of the submission and
availability of the IP team, so it is very difficult to predict a date
for the actual first visible commit. We should be eligible to the
parallel IP process
(http://wiki.eclipse.org/Development_Resources/HOWTO/Parallel_IP_Process),
if this is confirmed, then the code could appear on the repository
before the Eclipse IP team is done with the checks.
We will keep the community informed in this forum and the sirius-dev
mailing-list as soon as we get the process rolling.

Eclipse infrastructure ?
If you want to test the technology itself, you can do it right now by
using Obeo Designer (available at http://www.obeodesigner.com/). It is a
commercial product which includes (among other things) the Sirius
technology, except that it is called "Viewpoint" in current versions of
Obeo Designer and is commercial (you will not get the source code).
To be clear on the distinction between Sirius and Obeo Designer:
- Current versions of Obeo Designer include among other things a
(currently commercial) technology called "Viewpoint".
- Part of this "Viewpoint" technology (everything except the support for
collaborative modeling) will become Open Source under the name "Sirius"
as an Eclipse project. The transition (name and license change) is what
I was referring to when I said "we are in the process of preparing the
existing source code for the initial contribution".
- Once the transition is done, Obeo Designer will continue to exist as a
commercial product, but will include Sirius instead of Viewpoint (same
tech, different name and license), with commercial extensions (and
commercial support, etc.).
In terms of time frame, the plan is to get the first builds on the
Eclipse infrastructure in September, followed by a first release (0.x,
in incubation) around October. The objective is to get out of incubation
with a first 1.0 release in time for Eclipse Luna (Kepler+1) next June.
