Hi,

In evaluating SCOUT i came to wonder about the scalability and performance of a SCOUT based application. Will such an application scale to a large enterprise class application with hundereds of users and and ca. 2-3000 transactions per hour?

Any thoughts on this?

The biggest application based on eclipse scout we are aware of is BSI CRM (closed source commercial product). I will ask someone of the team to share some inside about performance/scalability (the application is deployed in some big companies).

Hi Yonz

Thank you for the request. We do have Scout applications with about 2'000 users and 400 concurrent users. We are talking about power users (call center) working with the Scout application exclusively. The amount of transaction is neither an issue. Scout is designed for large performance optimized business applications.
