Apologies if this has been asked before - I have been looking for several days now and have not been able to find any details on this.

I'd like to know what versions of HTML and CSS are supported by Eclipse Help. So far I've seen some samples that were HTML 4.0 transitional, others in XHTML. Rather than working in "this looks like it works" mode I'd prefer to work on the basis of a more explicit specification of supported HTML and CSS standards.

Does such a specification exist somewhere? Pointers anyone?
