I'm experiencing an issue with Eclipse and the Windows taskbar in both Win 7 and 8. When Eclipse is maximized, and the Windows taskbar is set to auto-hide, the taskbar sinks after a while - Eclipse covers it, causing the 2-pixel minimized taskbar to disappear completely and preventing me from restoring the taskbar by placing the mouse cursor on the bottom edge of the screen. The only way to to restore the taskbar is to minimize Eclipse or use keyboard shortcuts.

No other program I've used causes this.

Has anyone else run into this issue? Is there a fix?
