List display records new new row in xls vesrion. [message #1024408]

Hi am working on birt 2.2.1 .
In a report the List element display the record horizontally for the pdf,html and doc
version, while for the xls format it display the each record in new row.
for Example: If we have data set value as A B C then the "List" component of report
display the value as " A B C " on single row for doc,pdf and html vesrion But in case of the xls (spreadsheet) it display in the new line AS bollow.

How i can display it horizontally?

This is the same in 4.2.2. You could always file a bug for this. It's likely a limitation of the emitter. If you're wanting a certain number of values on the same line, you could use a grid, duplicate lists in each cell, and filters to limit the data in each list to only return certain data.
