Hi! You say "has been retired"; I presume this means Eclipse as an organization no longer formally supports CVS. However - does it mean that Indigo or Juno don't even WORK with CVS as used to be the case? I'm asking because I'm trying to restart a project we had to set aside in late 2013. It was using Eclipse and Subversion at that time, although early in 2013, we had shown we could also set up a CVS repository and have code go to/from it to Eclipse. Today, though, I'm trying to create a new CVS repository via Indigo, and am getting errors ("cannot connect" and "repository not found" kind of things). (We DO still have CVS servers set up and the path to them has not changed. So I don't have any reason to think it's a local-server issue; but am willing to be educated on that if it's indicated. )
Since the direction to use CVS came from management, I need to be able to explain this outcome to them.....
Thanks in advance for any further clarification on this!
Regards,
Paul
