When I create a new C project, say I choose the "Hello World ANSI C Project" from the new project > C project menu, I can't run the code it generates. It wont create binaries or recognize basic libraries like iostream. Does anybody know the steps I need to take to validate and execute this code?

Eclipse IDE for C/C++ Linux Developers
Version: Indigo Service Release 2
Build id: 20120216-1857
Ubuntu 12.04

Thanks!
