I use Eclipse Juno, C/C++ version, under Linux. The Java Runtime is Open JDK.
The normal behavior of Eclipse is to recognize if any file belonging to a project has changed at build time. This worked for weeks for me, but starting a few days ago - not having updated Eclipse nor having changed any setting - Eclipse does not notice if I change one of the files, may it be a .h file or a .c file. It starts the build, but reports "...nothing to do". This is true for both of the two projects that I currently work on.
Only if I manually select "Refresh" or "Clean Project" it compiles and links using the latest version of my files...of course, then starting from scratch with all files, so the build takes longer than necessary. In addition, always to have select "Refresh" before starting a build is very annoying.
I checked the preferences of Eclipse, but did not notice anything wrong.
Any ideas? Or is this an Eclipse Juno bug?
