Hi there,

beeing new to programming as well as to Eclipse/CDT (fatal combination)
a tutorial-lead "HelloWorld" in C just ended up in nothing but this
error-message:

Build Error
(Exec error:Launching failed)

Do I have to configure anything before using Eclipse/CDT (like setting
PATH-variables or so)?

Any hint is welcome. I'd be quite happy if you knew an online resource
with a detailed description of how to get started with CDT. Google and
http://www.eclipse.org/cdt/ (including "CDT Tutorials" and "CDT User
Guide") haven't been an aid... :-(

Thanks in advance
Annie

Hi Cavit,

thank you very much but in the meantime (guessing my posting was
inappropriate - to easy for the experts here) I found a resource
matching my needs (http://www.cs.umanitoba.ca/~eclipse/7-EclipseCDT.pdf).
