I am using Fedora 17 with Eclipse IDE. After I sucessful compiled my C project, I went to setup run > Debug Configuration. When I click the "Debug" button,
a dialog box with title 'Problem occurred' and the content is
Launch Test Debug has encountered a problem.
Error in final launching sequence.
The detailed section is as follows:-
Error in final launch sequence
Failed to execute MI command:
maintenance set python print-stack off
Error message from debugger back end:
Undefined maintenance set command: "python print-stack off". Try "help maintenance set".
Undefined maintenance set command: "python print-stack off". Try "help maintenance set".
The debugger would not open.
I used Fedora 14 with the same C projects and the debugger works fine.
There is a fix to this bug in CDT (Bug : 367788) from
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=367788 for GDB 7.4
The question is how to I download and install this fix in Bug 367788 to the Eclipse IDE.
