As a complete newcomer to Eclipse, I tried to install VE but without
success. Then I read all the posts here from people with similar
problems, and the suggestion to use Callisto to do everything. I did a
clean install of Eclipse and did all the right things after watching the
excellent tutorial (following the links: Eclipse home -> Downloads ->
Callisto -> Java/Web Applications -> Installing and using the Eclipse
Visual Editor).
In the tutorial I saw that they used the 'C+' drop-down in the toolbar
to add a new visual class, and sure enough it was there. Where it wasn't
was in the right-click context menu. I think that this is the root of
the problem that people (like me) have experienced. I wouldn't have
thought to use the toolbar drop-down if I hadn't seen it in the tutorial.
So I still have a small problem (maybe the reason why others have given
up) - Add Visual Class does not appear in the right-click menu. What
else do I need to do?

Ah, it is there if you look hard enough - about 3 levels down. So my
question is: is there any way to promote this to the tope level menu?
Jeff.
PS: Sorry for the weird 'from' field - I don't know why this is.
