How to transfer the users login-name from Tomcat LDAP-Realm as parameter to BIRT [message #137164]

to implement access control to report data, the username of the user
calling the report is necessary. That can be done by asking for a
parameter "username", but that is not very elegant, because the user
allready needed to type in his username and pasword to even get access to
the BIRT webapp using Tomcat access control and a LDAP-realm.
How can i transfer the username from the Tomcat session via Javascript to
BIRT as parameter ?
Has anyone a good idea, how to write a Javascript method for
"beforeRender", that transfers the username from Tomcat Servlet Container
as Parameter to BIRT ?
