Since a Package is mapped as root element to a Canvas, I thought that
double clicking within the diagram on a child package contained in the
root package would create and open another diagram in the same diagram
resource, where the child package is also mapped to a Canvas. Isn't this
the diagram partitioning feature introduced in M2? However a double
click not works. Is there another solution to open up a new canvas for a
selected child package?
To get forth, I manually added a new <notation:Diagram> and <element
xmi:type="uml:Package" ..> element in the text representation.
But, if adding new classes to the child package diagram, these classes
are not displayed in the "classifiers" compartment in the figure for the
child package in the root package diagram.
On the other hand, if I add a new class directly in the "classifiers"
compartment, how can I display and edit this class (add attributes..) in
the corresponding child package diagram?
Thanks

Hello exquisitus,

Well, sorry for bad explanation. Just try to click on the diagram and drag
the mouse with button presed - you'll see multiple selection frame drawn.
I'm suggesting to select package with this multiple selection frame.
