Multiple posts - Blank posts [message #907977]

For some reason, most of the posts I have had on the Eclipse community forums, show up 2 or 3 times. Other ones appear blank after editing them...and even though when I click "edit" I can see the body of the message, after I click submit, the posting is blank!

Am I the only one seeing all this? I think there is something really messed up about the forum software here!

I have seen if rarely what you describe. Usually, however, it's the
fault of my mail (news) client or its set-up. Not absolutely always,
however.

Hi Dave,

It happened yesterday morning (Eastern Time Zone) as the eclipse.org
servers were under some kind of distributed bot attack. The Forum was
being attacked, which lead to confused database servers and even more
confused web servers.

If you've spotted instances of threads and posts that can be cleaned up,
just let me know the URLs.
