How to make Eclipse to save settings [message #902407]

Is there a configuration option which forces Eclipse to save settings: opened projects, their states etc? Currently it saves on Exit, but since I can't remember time when I exited w/o crash, every time I launch Eclipse I see a project on which I'd been working when my grandma went to school.
