JUnit test with endless loop [message #119370]

Hi,
I have question regarding behaviour of JUnit test execution.

I create new TPTP JUnit Test and I define single test method in it. And I
implement an endless loop in this test method. So far so good, but when I
run my test then obviously it starts running in a loop. My problem is that
when I push "Cancel" button on test progress dialog then test is canceled
but the JUnit runner still runs the method without posibility to get rid
of it otherwise then kill the process. I would expect TPTP to kill the
JUnit runner before cancel the test. Is this behaviour correct? At least I
would suggest this as new enhancement.

Hi Jiri,
Yes, this is a known defect
(https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=157463). I have added this
defect to the 4.5 plan. Please add a comment to the defect and/or add your
email to the CC list to track its progress.
