Proxy authentication always turns false [message #894336]

I'm using eclipse 4.2 in windows 7. When i register my proxy in the networks tab under general preferences and click OK, it is not connecting to the proxy server. It shows Auth (authentication required) as false if i open it again. It doesn't register my username or password on the network.

I tried 3.8 also, I get the same issue.

Am I missing out something??Please help me with this issue.

Hi,

I can confirm the problem! After saving the authentication (username and password) it doesn't work. If I'm checking the proxy settings, the proxy is already there but the authentication is disabled and no username and password are in the fields.

I have no problems with the older 3.7.
