toolbar rendering issue. [message #117505]

My application shows and hides workbench toolbar items when the
perspective changes. When switching among the 3 perspectives, the toolbar
will render correctly serveral times and then it will show up in the
middle of the window instead of the left edge. It acts like there is an
invisible toolbar there because I cannot manually move it. The toolitems
are implemented as action sets.

Has anyone else run into this issue and if so, how did you fix it?

Scott,

you could try the same in an RCP application. If it works there,
feel free to file a bugzilla.

The RCP version of our application show the toolbars correctly. I added a
bug to bugzilla: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=260255
