Installing Indigo on a notebook [message #872751]

I want to install Indigo on a small notebook, something like an Asus Eee PC101 or something similar. These usually have Windows 7 Starter and 1GB memory typically. Has anyone installed Eclipse on such a small netbook?

Yes, I'd have to buy a notebook, but I only want to do that if Eclipse is going to work on it. I have it on other laptops but this is specifically for commuting, so I want something small.

Only you can say for sure if Eclipse on a netbook works for you. I run
Eclipse on a netbook computer with a screen size of 1024x600. It isn't
always easy, but I get by. I have 2mb of ram and a dual core Atom
processor.

I'm able to get by using features such as double clicking on editor/view
tabs to get the display full screen then again to switch back. You may
have to disable some toolbar items to prevent them from wrapping to a
second line which really limits screen space.
