Hi

I am using Freescale's CodeWarrior IDE, which use Eclipse CDT 7.0.1. I am run CodeWarrior on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS, which runs on a VMWare virtual machine on a remote server. CodeWarrior is displayed on my Win 7 laptop by VcXsrv, which is an X server based on the Xorg sources.

When running CodeWarrior, if I right click in an editor window (e.g. to access 'Open Declaration), the expected menu pops up but, after I select a menu item, the editor enters 'text select' mode, which is only terminated if I right-click again.

The desired menu option only sometimes gets invoked.

This problem may be related to Eclipse on Ubuntu, or to the X server I am using.

Any suggestions how to fix it please?

Best regards

David

Same problem with XWin server hat comes with Cygwin. Xming however seems to work fine. Could it be a configuration issue? It is also strange that, when using applications other than Eclipse, right-click behavior is OK. Perhaps a configuration related to displaying Java applications?
