Hi,
I am confronted with a strange problem and I hope to get some help how to resolve it:
I have an rcp application (based on 3.7.2), bundled as a product, without any functionality. I exported the bundle and ran it without problems.
I created some bundles (some with osgi services, a database connection service for example, based on eclipselink 3.1.2) and with contributions to the ui (perspectives, views, editors, menus...). I created a (local) update site (using an apache server) and added these bundles.
Then i installed these bundles in the application (I use p2) and restarted it. It worked. Then I updated one bundle and put it on the update site. I updated the application and after restarting it, nothing goes anymore. The contributed ui items disappeared one after the other and a huge log was the result (I added it to my post).
After that, I shut down the app, removed the obsolete bundles from the plugins folder (those that were updated by new ones) and restarted the app. Everything was working.
Can anyone tell me, what is the problem and where I have to dig. Or can anyone help me or give me a hint? Thank you very much!
Christian
P.S. Because I have problems with my internet connection, I put the logs in a separate post.
