Hi RAP-team,

I'm sure you already realized that the qooxdoo team is about to release
qooxdoo 0.7.4.
They are currently asking to use last chances to test their branch before
they release this version.

Is there any chance to get an integration (or unofficial) build of RAP
which uses their latest 0.7.x branch (I saw Ivan posting a bug-report to
the qooxdoo list, does he have such a build) ?
If that's the case I could spent some time by the end of the week to see
if I can find any more issues with this version ?

Others maybe could do alike ?

Ivan,

thanks for this patch - due to time limitations I could only do a small
test up to now - I used my previous (small) test-application, which just
creates/disposes 50Labels/Texts (repeatedly).
Before: on each iteration (i.e. 100widgets) IE7 used 5MB without releasing
the memory
After: very small leaks, but I can repeat 10-20times and only have an
amount of about 200kB leaking.

I assume this is due to some very small leftovers I couldn't fix on the
qooxdoo 0.7.x branch. Furthermore RAP until now doesn't reuse widget-ids
which I think will lead to small leaks on IE as well.

Anyway - very good results, I'm very pleased and happy to see qooxdoo
0.7.4 included into RAP in the future.
Within the next weeks I'll test against our real app (containing
tables/trees/popups/tabs and alike) as well and then will try to prove
that reusing widget IDs in RAP will solve most of the last small KB of
leaks :D
