A Scout Client minimized to the taskbar sometimes "disappears" / crashes when trying to reopen it.
The attached error log is written when this happens.

We currently assume this is related to the JRE Bug 6961306

Our JRE Version:
# JRE version: 6.0_22-b04
# Java VM: Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (17.1-b03 mixed mode windows-x86 )

Is this there any known workaround for this?

Im currently suffering from the same problem on my windows 7 32-bit machine.
The error is rarely happening if I lock the screen while my scout application is running.
I found a suggestion about the reason and a prevention of the error saved in file awt-html.pdf (could not post link - sorry)

As far as I understand the reason are asynchronous awt threads that interfere.

I tried to reproduce the error while running a awt-robot over night starting and doing those reported tasks (minimizing over task bar, minimizing in the window, invoking a screensaver) about 500 times. However I could not reproduce the error one single time! So it must be really random and depending on other stuff.

Have you any suggestion how to reproduce the error reliably?

However I found some people that have the same problem regularly but did not recognize it as the application closes without any message...
