Hi.

I was just wondering if there was something special to do to deploy bundle on Virgo start ?
Currently I'm using repository/usr/ to store my bundle (as the examples from the wiki). But for an unknown reason bundle are not deployed when Virgo is started. It's a fresh install of Virgo.

I'm on windows 7 using a jdk6 x64.

Thanks.

Edit: I forgot to mention that the bundles deploy correctly when uploading them via the web interface.

Mastah,

Take a look at these two references.

http://www.eclipse.org/virgo/documentation/virgo-documentation-3.5.0.M03/docs/virgo-user-guide/html/ch12.html#deployment-deploying
http://www.eclipse.org/virgo/documentation/virgo-documentation-3.0.0.x/docs/virgo-user-guide/html/ch08.html

Then look at the console to get a better sense for what is going on:

You can use Virgo tooling for the console or cmd-line:

http://www.eclipse.org/virgo/documentation/virgo-documentation-3.0.0.x/docs/virgo-user-guide/htmlsingle/virgo-user-guide.html#admin-shell-vsh-command-reference

hth,

Miles

Already doing all that, but the console or log doesn't give me any log entry about loading the bundles or failing with a stack.

Ok, I got it working.
I though the bundle were starting automatically on start up, but I was wrong. They are just starting when the said bundle requesting the exported package ask for them.

That's very smart. It avoid conflict and such like that.
