FYI: Indexer Problem Markers [message #110363] Mon, 12 July 2004 10:00
Eclipse UserFriend
Hello CDT Community,

I just wanted to clear up some confusion regarding the Indexer Problem
Markers. These markers are intended to be used as a tool for users to
report parser bugs to bugs.eclipse.org. We have greatly appreciated the
defects that have come in so far, and if you have the time and the desire,
your effort in this endeavor will help us field a better CDT in a shorter
timeframe.

Our parser framework currently accepts only ANSI C and C++ w/some GCC
extensions (but not all, unfortunately). Defects relating to these dialects
will be addressed sooner than others, and we shall attempt to address as
much as possible for the upcoming maintenance release of CDT.

Thanks,
JohnC
