Hi I have downloaded eclipse to my windows to try out android development.

Efterwords I have deleted eclipse.

then I have put it on again Smile

but now It remembers all the old settings??
Where I save workspase, what software I have install in to it and so on.
I cant fide out how to deleted them?
I have try delete the folder from my machine and seach the reg for eclipe but cant fine annything.

the issue is that I cant install the android componet now. ( I know you dont support Android question but I this it is a quistion of cleaning up eclipse before putting it on the machine again)

Eclipse makes no registry additions whatsoever. It's completely
file-based and everything is in a) the subdirectory you chose to explode
Eclipse into and b) any workspace you created.

I had the same exact problem. I have tried to delete everything in my working folder after I uninstalled it. Yet when i re-installed it, I cannot download ADT - the Help pull down menu was missing the "Install new software" component. Please help.

If I download eclipse again and run it it still remebers the old settings.
So there must be some files outsite the eclipse folder

Ok Now I have it to work
I dont quit know what trigger the right solution but it is working now
I deleted my workspace from (C:\Users\"USERNAME"\workspace)
I downloadet Eclipce opened it in a deferent folder then before
It now ask for where to place the workspace
I closed it and moved it the the place whare I want it to be and opened it again.
Now it works like a new install.

I think that the referens may be in the workspace?
And that have not beed deleted before as it is not in my eclipse folder
