Hi Jan

in the package explorer, when u collapse all, u'll have a list of all ur
project in the current workspace.

Also have a look a "getting started" section of the workbench section of
help. reading help, often helps ;-)

you did not only copy them into the workspace, did you?
there is some metadata file which is not updated, when just copying.

AFAIK To have them show up , they must be imported via file -> import.
and then either "existing project" or "file system"
