The application I am currently working on gets the users' data through
means other than file based resources. Consequently the file based
resources provided as standard by Eclipse is redundant. I have tried
removing the resource plugins, but eclipse is then unable to start. I
suspect that Eclipse requires these in order to bootstrap itself. Is
there a sensible way to remove the "user" file functionality such as the
resource browser and the open/save options etc?
