ui behavior in property sections [message #9573] Thu, 23 August 2007 17:20 Go to next message

It seemed that in the past when you changed the name of an activity,
variable, etc. in the name field of the description property section that
it updated the name throughout the UI (such as the tray viewer and outline
view tree) when you pressed 'Enter'. Now the name appears to update only
when when you click somewhere out of the property section. Is this
intentional? Along the same lines, in the properties view the heading
(not sure if this is the correct name for it but the text next to the
icon) changes to match the name. For example, if you add an invoke then
change the name the heading changes from Invoke to the name. This leaves
the user to rely on matching the icon to the activity to know which
properties they are editing. Wouldn't it be better to leave the heading
unchanged so that it matches the type of activity?

Thanks.

Probably a bug. We'll fix it.
