Hi,

I test a plugin that use SWT and some test cases use position based
recording.
When I run the test in standard mode, the workbench is launched and
maximized. But to able to run it on different hosts (different screen
resolution and one or two screens) I would like to open the workbench at a
specific place (0,0) with a fixed size (1000x800 for example) not the
maximum size.
How to do this?

Thanks,

Hi Eric,

If you know the exact size and which configuration goes with which size, you
can record separate test cases which specifically resize the workbench and
enable/disable them based on the host you are running on.

I am not aware of an alternate shortcut for setting the workbench size and
location (coordinates). However, I think you bring up a good idea for an
enhancement whereby a user could manually set the preferred size in the
Overview page of each test suite. I have opened the following bugzilla to
address this:

Please feel free to add your name to the CC list and
comment/contribute/track its progress:

Let me know if there is anything else I can assist you with.

Sincerely,

Liz Dancy
