Hi,

I normally develop and test on a windows environment. We want to deploy and test (the server part) on Linux. Are there any special thing we have to do for that.

we also normally run our business products at customer locations on solaris or linux.
As long as you dont require microsoft office tools on server you will be fine.

Maybe take care to at least using a tomcat or similar as app server and a apache web firewall or similar as authentication proxy - just for safety reasons.
