I occasionally (ok often) find I've created a local task without activating it, then merrily opened loads of files in eclipse. Is it possible to add the opened files to a Mylyn task?

that sounds similar to the suggestion that is tracked on this bug:

329944: populate context with open editors (was: create new task from open
editors)

It'd be great if you could comment and add your thoughts and requirements to
that bug.
