This article[1] came across Planet Eclipse this morning (it's morning here at least Wink. It talks about using a Browser-based rich text editor (FCKEditor) in an SWT application. This approach should work just as well in a RAP application with no modifications. There is also a Mylyn bug[2] mentioned in the comments which implemented the same thing using ckeditor and has passed the eclipse IP Review process. There have been several discussions about rich text in RAP recently, so I thought people would find this useful.

Hi.

I actually started something like this already (independently from them)
here: [1]. Their approach (and my first try [2]) would probably not work
very well in RAP due to the high traffic. I will blog about it sometime.

Greetings,
Tim
