Hi there!

I need to use the Tomcat server version 5.5.7 for my project, because it
requires to use Servlet/JSP Spec version 2.4/2.0
How can I do this with the current build of the WTP Tools?

Thx for your help!

Sebastian

Hi Sebastian,

The simplest way is to open the J2EE Perspective in Eclipse and go to
the Servers view. Right-click in the Servers view, execute New ->
Server, and select Tomcat v5.5 Server. If you happen to have a Tomcat
v5.5 Runtime already specified, you can click Finish. Since this is
unlikely, click Next and specify the Tomcat 5.5 installation directory.
Make sure the JRE (or JDK) is appropriate and click Finish. This will
create a Tomcat v5.5 Runtime and associated server.

To learn more, you are also welcome to try some of the tutorials found here:

Cheers,
Larry
