Hello,

I have created a number of reports using the BIRT/Eclipse plugin. While creating these reports I created a connection profile and set my database connectivity passwords using eclipse.

I need to move these to production and will have to update my connection profile to include the new database/drivers/and credentials. I won't have eclipse in that environment. How can I update this information without Eclipse?

thanks for your help

If you did not encrypt the connection profile you can use a text editor.
If you did you need to use the command line tool provided by DTP. To
read about the console tool look at:

Select Help -> Help Contents from the designer command menu. Then in
the Help window, select the content in
"Data Tools Platform User Documentation" -> "Creating a Connection
Profile" -> "Editing Connection Profile Properties" -> "Console Editor
Application".
