Hi all,

I am looking for an eclipse plugin, or configuration to allow the display of multi-rows of tabs to select the current editor. Something like this - screenshots

After spending a few weeks working on a windows machine primary using UltraEdit as a text editor for scripting, I am back to Java on eclipse.

However returning to eclipse is proving a bit of a pain because something has become a bit obvious is that eclipse editor tab selector is not very nice compared to Editors that provide multi-rows of tabs to select from. (the drop down list is often hard to navigate.

There are a few different workflow scenarios for eclipse, and some depend on having many files open at the same time that often need to navigate between rapidly and easily. (and this is much easier done with other editor selector options than the eclipse default)

many thanks

Hi

AFAIK there is no such thing - at least not out of the box :-(
