Hello,
I'm struggeling if (and if so, how) I can tell an eclipse feature plugin
to deploy an external jar with it. When a feature is selected on the
update-site to be installed, it seems that this feature can only contain
the plugins we wrote ourselves and which are loaded in the workspace of
the Eclipse creating the feature.
If I want to add a jar which someone provides me, can it be added so
that it will be installed on the client?
kind regards
Martin
PS: This is a x-post, as I' unsure which category fits best, please
feel free to set a proper follow-up (even to another group if it would
fit better)

Hi Martin,
I am not sure whether I have undestood it right from you question. Even
so, you can express dependencies of your feature by specifying other
features or plugins your feature depends on in the Dependencies tab of
the feature editor in the PDE.

Ivan
