Hi all,

AM trying to understand the evolution of Eclipse non-APIs (Source code). One thing that is not clear to me in the all the classes and intefaces is; at the beginning of every file there are a statement like:

Copyright (c) 2006, 2008 IBM Corporation and others.
Copyright (c) 2000, 2010 IBM Corporation and others.
Copyright (c) 2000, 2008 IBM Corporation and others.
Copyright (c) 2004, 2008 IBM Corporation and others.
Copyright (c) 2007, 2011 IBM Corporation and others.
Copyright (c) 2005 IBM Corporation and others.

All these are from files in the packages containing the "internal" (non-APIs) in Eclipse 3.7. In very rare cases, there is a @since tag in the file.

I pressume that the years have got something to do with the year in which the file was introduced into Eclipse (at least fro the beginning year), but I don't understand the last year in the line. Please help me understand this.

Thank you in advance.

Best regards,

John
