Hi all,

directly after login, I have to find out to which department the user belongs. This is normally stored in the database, but if not filled in yet, I have to ask the user about his department.

Is there a specific point or event in the client where I can hook in such functionality.

This is basically Desktop.execGuiAttached which means that the ui is ready yet.
There you can show a form and the call a remote service operation to persist that data.
